Privacy Policy
PlannerSpaces ("we", "our", or "us") provides a team workspace for planning, boards, diagrams, and communication. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PlannerSpaces, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and profile image. If you register with a password, it is stored as a salted hash, never in plain text.
- Content you create — workspaces, boards, cards, pages, diagrams, messages, chat conversations, and images you upload.
- Google account data — if you connect Google Sign-In or Google Calendar, we receive your basic profile (name, email, picture) and, only when you grant it, access to your calendar events. See section 3.
- Technical data — session cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate PlannerSpaces: workspaces, boards, messaging, and chat.
- To send email notifications you would expect, such as a message sent to you by another user.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google user data
When you connect your Google account, PlannerSpaces accesses Google user data only to provide user-facing features: signing you in, and displaying or creating calendar events that you request. PlannerSpaces's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google user data, never use it for advertising, and never allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or as required by law. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
4. How your information is shared
- With your team — content you put in a shared workspace, and messages you send, are visible to the intended members or recipients.
- With service providers — we use trusted infrastructure providers to run PlannerSpaces (database and file storage hosting, and an email delivery service for notifications). They process data only on our behalf.
- For legal reasons — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Content you delete (messages, cards, templates) is removed from the product. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below and we will process the request within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. Passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
7. Children's privacy
PlannerSpaces is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
9. Contact us
